Wild Honey Shampoo Bar

I’ve been wanting to reduce waste by switching to shampoo and conditioner bars for a while and these are even better than I expected! This really gets my hair feeling clean and leaves a soft scent behind. I’m almost sad they’re expected to last for so many washes because I want to try the other scents now!

I got this as part of the Black Friday bundle. I have a very sensitive scalp so when I find something that works for me I don't like to change shampoo or conditioner because I will get hives with some products. It lathers very easily and keeps me hair feeling cleaner longer than my old shampoo. (I've been washing my hair 2x a week.) Also, no hives! So it's a win for me! Also, it smells really nice.

If you’re on the fence, get it.

To be honest, I didn’t think shampoo/conditioner bars would work for me. I have incredibly thick, incredibly oily hair that tangles the second it gets wet. I thought it would be a nightmare to get enough product off a bar to penetrate the top layer of hair and hit the scalp. I only bought this because I’m going through a tough financial situation and have been looking for low-budget alternatives to my regular products. I figured this was worth a shot as I’m a fan of the soaps, and at worst a $10 loss.

Boy howdy, am I thrilled I tried this. Not only has it solved my tangle problem during shampoos, but this bar combined with the conditioner bar has eliminated several oil-control steps from my routine after the shower. I’m getting 3 days of good hair between washes where before I had to use dry shampoo the next day. My hair is soft and shiny and it just feels so nourishing as opposed to stripped after a wash, and it lathers like a silky dream. I was using expensive salon sulfate free, hydrating blah blah blah before. This beats all of them.

We’ll see how long before it runs out- I would guess at least 6 months at this rate.

I love this shampoo. It cleans my hair well without excessive drying and it lasts forever. I was my hair 2-3 times per week (shoulder length hair, I focus on mainly washing the scalp) and it has lasted over a year. The matching conditioner is great too. I bought it at the same time and I'm only halfway through the conditioner bar.

Was using a store brand shampoo which lead to getting a pretty messed up scalp. After a few weeks of switching to this my scalp healed and my hair grows better too.
